Our Teams

Resource Vetting Team

The heart of what we do. Confirm the accuracy of crowdsourced info for relief & recovery in Southern Appalachia and make it available for folks on our website.

We’re looking for skills including:

  • Google Workspace: Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly with Google Docs.
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to verify information through talking to the original sources, online searches, and by phone.
  • Discord: The ability to use and/or learn how to use Discord for team communication.

No fancy skills needed! If you know how to use Google Docs, you’ve got the technical know-how to update our user-friendly website.

Communications Team 

Gettin’ it out there. Boost crowdsourced info for relief & recovery in Southern Appalachia and “market for good” in support of people and orgs on the ground.

We’re looking for skills including:

  • Copywriting: Strong writing and editing skills to craft clear and engaging content.
  • Graphic Design: Proficiency with tools like Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite to design visuals.
  • Social Media: Experience managing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Story Creation: A knack for storytelling to document and share impactful narratives.

Keeping it goin’. Improve and sustain the digital backbone that enables us to crowdsource info for rebuilding & recovery in Southern Appalachia — and beyond.

We’re looking for skills including:

  • Web development/digital automation: Experience with coding, APIs, or workflow optimization.
  • IT support: Technical problem-solving to keep systems running smoothly.
