Notice

There are rumors about ICE presence, specifically in Franklin. The Department of Homeland Security reports that ICE and CBP are NOT conducting immigration enforcement activities in protected areas. This includes evacuation routes, shelter sites, and places where emergency supplies are distributed. If requested by FEMA or local authorities, ICE and CBP may assist in search and rescue missions, but always provide assistance to all individuals, regardless of immigration status. Please take photos of any violations of this policy and send them to npatton@nlihc.org - it is important that federal advocates are aware.
